Woman hospitalised after collision in Plymouth

A woman has been taken to hospital after a road collision in Plymouth.

Police were called to Cobourg Street at 11:15 BST to reports of a crash involving a vehicle and a female pedestrian.

The woman was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to the city's Derriford Hospital with "potentially serious injuries", Devon and Cornwall Police said.

Cobourg Street was closed at The Roundabout pub, by Mayflower Street, officers said.
