Woman missing in Hammonds Plains found
A 21-year-old woman who was missing in the Kingswood area of Hammonds Plains has been found.
Leanne Lessard was located a couple of kilometres in the woods near Ash Lake, just before 7:00 a.m. Wednesday.
Both the RCMP and the Halifax Ground Search and Rescue team were looking for her.
Police said they were called around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night when Lessard had not returned home.
The search was concentrated near a common hiking spot with a trail known as Blue Mountain that runs off a logging road.
