My Beauty Obsession showcases the extreme ways in which people strive to be beautiful. From a mother who has used a corset to achieve her 18-inch waist to a woman who underwent numerous surgeries to look like Melania Trump, the stories are endless.
Vinny Ohh has spent years cultivating her appearance as non-binary who is "in the midst of a transition human being" and uses her body as a personal canvas.
Growing up in what she deems a conservative town in Northern California, Ohh realized that she needed to break free from all the restrictions she faced as a child.
"I have been transitioning for six years and I said out to the world that I am this alien and I am transitioning and I want to cut my genitals off," she explained. "But what was really under that is that I was just transitioning into me."
In addition to plastic surgery, Ohh has looked to her body as a form of self-expression, transforming her body with everything from gold foil to glue and sand.
"The second I was freed from that, I immediately dove into wearing neon pants, oil slick, PVC pants, deep v-necks..."
And while her lifestyle wasn't initially supported by her parents, Ohh says that's now changed.
"The initial reaction when I was walking down my staircase in all these bodysuits and nine-inch heels from my parents was absolute fear and terror and emotion for me getting hurt," she recalled. "Then it turned into understanding and love."
"I'm very, very lucky," she added.
