Worker injured in Amherstburg industrial accident

A man suffered cuts and a broken arm in an industrial accident Wednesday in Amherstburg.

It happened at the former General Chemical plant, now owned by Honeywell.

A contract worker fell about four metres (12 feet) and was rushed to hospital in Windsor.

The victim is an employee of Priestly Demolition.

Existing structures on the property are being torn down.

The provincial Ministry of Labour is investigating how the fall happened.
