After Clash of Champions and the revived King of the Ring tournament comes the first pay-per-view since SmackDown moved from USA to Fox and from Tuesdays to Friday: It's time for Hell in a Cell 2019.

The 11th HIAC PPV has a lot to live up to, with 40 previous Hell in a Cell matches there on the WWE Network for comparison.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2019 takes place on Sunday, October 6 at 7pm ET/4pm PT (Midnight into Monday, September 16 in the UK) at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California.

A one-hour Kick-Off Show starts at 6pm ET/3pm PT (11pm in the UK).

What's the full match card and predictions for WWE Hell in a Cell 2019?

WWE Raw Women's Champion: Becky Lynch (c) vs Sasha Banks [Hell in a Cell Match]

Becky Lynch days as post-WrestleMania champ-champ have long faded into memory, but she's still ruled over Monday Night Raw with relative ease.

But for the first time in a long time, her reign looks seriously under threat.

Despite rumours that she might jump ship to AEW (or even quit the business entirely), Sasha Banks's return in August felt inevitable, and she launched herself straight into the title picture.

A DQ meant she failed at Clash of Champions, but with Bayley by her side she's managed to stick around as #1 Contender and now has a chance to make a massive statement at Hell in a Cell, IN Hell in a Cell.

And despite Satan's structure ostensibly keeping the competitors in and those that would interfere out, don't bet against Bayley being the difference here and helping The Boss get back to the toppermost of the poppermost.

PREDICTION: Sasha Banks

WWE Universal Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt

Has there been a more successful repackaging of a WWE talent than Bray Wyatt's metamorphosis into The Fiend?

It's hard to think of one in recent memory. While Bray always brought plenty of character to WWETV, repeated failures to do the business when it really mattered in the ring had dulled his mystique.

Now he's got a mask, an alter-ego, some snazzy new moves (some Mankind mandible claw returned with thanks), and he's also got a shot at the WWE Universal Title.

And, in the last few weeks, the fear factor has seemingly given Bray/The Fiend the edge over the champ.

You'd expect Seth to put all distractions aside when it comes to this though: a PPV night with his title on the line.

But with the Cell closing in around both men, we can't help but feel that The Fiend's transformation will be complete when he walks out with that WWE Universal Championship draped over him.

PREDICTION: 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt

Erick Rowan and Luke Harper vs Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan

This was a whirly-swirly storyline. For a long while, the mystery of "Who's after the Big Dog? looked like it was all leading to Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan megafight.

Instead, Luke Harper emerged from the shadows to reunite with his old Bludgeon Brothers/Wyatt Family sibling.

Erick Rowan and Luke Harper are serious business apart, and together they can bludgeon pretty much anyone.

But Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns aren't just anyone. They're two of the most successful, most loved (and sometimes hated) wrestlers in WWE history.

And despite the threat of a last minute twist (a Daniel Bryan double-quick-heel-turn? A Roman Reigns heel turn?!?!?) we think that the good guys will stick together, stay on the path of light, and put down Harper and Rowan.

PREDICTION: Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan

WWE SmackDown Women's Championship: Bayley (c) vs Charlotte Flair

Bayley has looked pretty comfortable as WWE SmackDown Women's Championship ever since she nabbed the belt from Charlotte Flair in a few seconds after cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase.

Her turn to the dark side and reunion with best frenemy Sasha Banks hasn't done her any harm either, as she used a few dirty tricks and an exposed turnbuckle to put away Charlotte at Clash of Champions last month.

But a Flair isn't got rid of that easily, and as the Four Horsewomen have gone at it in various permutations on WWETV since, this rematch felt inevitable.

And with Charlotte clearly wanting to take back her crown to celebrate SmackDown's move from USA and Tuesdays to Fox on Fridays, she'll be extra motivated to make this one count.

With her current bad ass attitude and her pal Sasha backing her up, we'd normally favour Bayley, but The Boss will be preoccupied with her own title match and tackling Hell in a Cell.

So we're going for Flair for Fox on Fridays.

PREDICTION: Charlotte Flair

RUMOURED MATCHES

  • WWE Intercontinental Championship: Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs Ali

  • WWE Women's Tag Team Championship: Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss (c) vs The Kabuki Warriors

  • Kofi Kingston vs Brock Lesnar
