York police investigating overnight hit-and-run in Vaughan
A woman was taken to hospital after a vehicle struck two people and fled the scene in Vaughan in the early morning hours Saturday.
The incident occurred shortly after 3 a.m. on Interchange Way, east of Hwy. 400 and south of Hwy. 7.
The 19-year-old woman was taken to a trauma centre with non-life threatening injuries by York paramedics, while a man who was also hit but suffered less significant injuries was treated at the scene.
Police did not provide any description of the vehicle, but are investigating the incident.
