Teen girl dies in Constance Bay snowmobile crash

A 14-year-old girl has died in a snowmobile crash in Ottawa's rural west end, police say.

Police officers, firefighters and paramedics were called to Archie Street in the city's Constance Bay neighbourhood at around 3 p.m. Friday, police said.

The girl was rushed to the nearest hospital in Arnprior, Ont., where she died of her injuries.

Both Ottawa police and the Ontario coroner's office are investigating.
