WHITEHORSE — Yukon's chief medical officer of health says the territory is investigating a probable case of COVID-19.
Dr. Brendan Hanley says in a statement that the case is awaiting confirmation from the BC Centre for Disease Control.
The affected individual is from Whitehorse and authorities say the case is linked to travel outside of Yukon.
The person is in stable condition and self-isolating at home.
Hanley says Yukon Communicable Disease Control has begun contact tracing, and no public exposure has been identified.
The last positive COVID-19 case in the territory was announced in late September after a non-resident tested positive.
