Zendaya is more than just a close friend to Timothée Chalamet — she's also his interior decorator.

The two Dune actors have a sweet friendship that they say officially started when Zendaya and Chalamet were filming the first installment of the Denis Villeneuve-directed epic in 2019. In a recent interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Zendaya and Chalamet were joined by their Dune: Part Two co-stars Florence Pugh and Austin Butler to discuss the upcoming film. Kimmel commented on the four actors' relationships with one another, noting that they seemed to have developed a bond.

“Do you guys socialize with each other?" Kimmel asked.

“Yeah, I mean we interact on talk shows like these,” Chalamet joked.

The Wonka actor then said that he has “great friendships with everyone here," before mentioning that Zendaya “helped me set up my first apartment in New York years ago.”

“It was um, the vibe was very teenage boy,” Zendaya said of his apartment. “And you know we just needed a few necessities. You know, cups and plates.”

Florence Pugh chimed in, adding “knives and forks — a pillow, a bed maybe.”

Chalamet cut in saying that “there was a bed” but “no bed frame.” Zendaya also said that she got him “all the big boy stuff" after they went on a shopping trip to Bed Bath & Beyond.

“Did you have one of those coupons that come in the mail?” Kimmel joked.

Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet — who wore matching leather ensembles during their Kimmel appearance — have gushed about their close friendship in the past. Chalamet told Variety in an interview in 2022 that she has “become a sister” to him.

“I’m so grateful to count her as a partner and a sister and a friend,” he continued.

The two are starring in the highly-anticipated sequel to the 2021 sci-fi remake. Chalamet and Zendaya play love interests in the film, with Chalamet calling her performance “incredible” and “in greater abundance” than the first film.

Dune: Part 2 will be in theaters everywhere on March 1.
