Refusing again to stick to a trend, gas prices across Newfoundland and Labrador dropped a little on Thursday.
The 1.3-cent drop comes after an increase last week, a dip the week before that, and an increase before that.
The fluctuations have meant that gas prices now are almost identical to one month ago.
On the Avalon Peninsula — where gas prices are traditionally cheapest — Thursday's setting means that a litre of self-serve unleaded can now be sold for no more than $1.311.
Other maximum prices include $132.9 in Marystown, $1.318 in Deer Lake and $1.348 in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
Meanwhile, diesel prices dropped Thursday by as much as 0.5 cents a litre.
Furnace oil dropped by the same amount.
