Zoë Kravitz Reveals Whether She and Fiancé Channing Tatum Want to Have Kids
Tatum is already dad to daughter Everly, 11, whom he shares with ex Jenna Dewan
Zoë Kravitz isn't planning on growing her family anytime soon.
Speaking with Esquire for their September cover story, the Blink Twice director, 35, shared that she isn't sure whether she wants to have kids. Kravitz is engaged to actor Channing Tatum, 44, who shares his daughter Everly, 11, with ex Jenna Dewan.
"For a long time, I felt like there was something wrong with me," Kravitz tells the outlet. "I was waiting for this light to go off in my head, and it never did. When you're younger, you're like, 'Well, I can't have kids. I'm too young! It'd be crazy,' " she continues. "I had to actually look at, 'What do I want?'"

Kravitz says that she realized during her first marriage, to actor Karl Glusman in 2019, that she didn't plan on having kids. Her epiphany led her to realize that she wanted to be around friends who were of a similar mindset.
"For a lot of people that have children, it is this giant, life-changing event — and I do think there is a certain amount of focus and respect that they should get from their community," Kravitz says, adding that she wishes that the big things in her life, without kids, were treated the same way.
"There's a lot of pressure on women to have children, and there's a feeling that if you don't, you don't have a purpose here. But this movie, it feels like I gave birth," Kravitz says of her directorial debut, Blink Twice.
Kravitz and Tatum's engagement was confirmed in October 2023 after they were first romantically linked in 2021.
At the movie's Los Angeles premiere, Tatum spoke with PEOPLE about how creating a film with his fiancée was one of the "most gratifying" experiences.
"To get to create something with someone that you love is probably one of the most gratifying things other than having a kid with somebody I think," Tatum said of what the "best part" about shooting a movie with his other half was.
"You truly are creating something from nothing and it's just like creating a marriage or creating something where you're like, everything that we are is going into this thing and you want to make it with people that you love," he added.
