Zogg Fire Grows to Over 50,000 Acres Amid Hot and Dry Conditions in Northern California

The Zogg Fire burning in California’s north near Redding grew to more than 50,000 acres on September 29 amid hot and dry conditions.

Over 900 firefighting personnel battled the blaze in rugged terrain as temperatures climbed above 90 degrees Farenheit, according to CAL FIRE.

Over 140 structures had been destroyed by the fire.
