Teen arrested for theft of snowmobile, firearms in Jeffrey's

The RCMP are investigating another suspicious fire on Bell Island.

A vehicle was found ablaze in a resident's driveway on Middleton Road near Freshwater around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Police and volunteer firefighters responded to the call.

There were no injuries reported.

This incident is the latest in a string of structure and vehicle fires on the island.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the anonymous Crime Stoppers line at 1-800-222-8477.
