Justin Bieber, Kelly Kapowski wear each other on T-shirts

A lot of people are probably still wondering why pop sensation Justin Bieber was sporting a Kelly Kapowski t-shirt on the red carpet at the MuchMusic Video Awards last weekend.

Kelly Kapowski, of course, was everyone's favourite Bayside High School cheerleader on the TV show Saved By the Bell. Played by Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, the actress must have heard about Biber's stunt, because she showed up at the movie premier for Horrible Bosses wearing a Justin Bieber t-shirt under her blazer.

"I have no idea how it came about with him, but I'm just trying to show the love back, that's all," says Thiessen to New York Magazine.

Bieber was actually born a year after Saved by the Bell went off the air after five seasons in 1993.

If he gets more into the early 90s hit show, he may have trouble tweeting with the Zack Morris cell phone.
