It's quite a view from the world's tallest tower, if you can get past the sweating palms and knee jitters induced by seeing your toes peek over the edge of a building that makes cars look like ants.

But a photographer has endured the terror of the CN Tower Edge Walk for us, walking the ledge with his Google Glass and his video camera to bring viewers nausea in the comfort of their homes.

Trey Ratcliff posted the video yesterday along with photos of the city taken with his Google Glass lens.

Ratcliff's website says he is blind in one eye, which might affect how he visualizes the world as a photographer.

Ratcliff wrote in a comment below the video that he received special permission to take the equipment onto the CN tower.

"They don't normally let it out there because they are worried about droppage!" he wrote.

Other videos have documented the experience from the top of Toronto, including this lengthy video, which shows edge walkers inching their way forward, no doubt shaking in their orange jump suits.

Don't worry, brave adventurers, you won't have to jump from the CN Tower like stunt man Dar Robinson did — twice.
