Returning soldier Michael Harlow dresses up as Braves catcher to surprise wife

A touching moment at a Minor League Baseball game is going viral.

Darla Harlow thought she had been randomly selected to throw the first pitch at a Mississippi Braves game. What she didn't realize until after she lobbed the ball was that the catcher was actually her husband, Michael, just home from Afghanistan.

"It took a couple of seconds ... just shock, just overwhelmed," Darla Harlow told WAPT Jackson.

Michael Harlow, an Army major, had been in Afghanistan for nine months. He worked with the Braves and his daughters to set up the heartwarming homecoming surprise.

"She didn't faint. The last time I surprised her she fainted," said Michael Harlow.

Michael will return to Afghanistan in 10 weeks.
