CBSA warns of immigration scam

The Canada Border Services Agency is warning of a letter scam asking immigrant applicants for money.

A fake letter has been circulating with a CBSA logo, according to the agency.

This scam happens every few months, the CBSA said in a release.

CBSA reminds immigration applicants to be aware of signs of fraud, including offers advertised as legal or government approved or claims persuading you to pay fees or taxes.
