Charlie Hebdo honoured by Montreal Museum of Fine Arts
Montreal's Museum of Fine Arts wanted to respond to questions about the role of art and drawing in the wake of last week's murders at the French satirical magazine, Charlie Hebdo.
So museum director Nathalie Bondil worked with staff to prepare a 12-metre-tall banner featuring cartoons created after the Jan. 7 shootings in Paris.
They've created a workshop called "Drawing in the Name of Liberty" for museum-goers.
The first workshop was offered on Saturday at the museum on Sherbrooke Street West.
