Girl, 14, sexually assaulted near Vimy Ridge Park

Winnipeg police are looking for a man alleged to have committed a serious sexual assault on a 14-year-old girl in a Winnipeg park.

Winnipeg police said the girl was confronted in Vimy Ridge Park on Thursday at 12.45 a.m.by a man who offered her illegal drugs.The girl declined and the suspect forced her into a nearby vehicle. A serious sexual assault occurred.

The suspect is described as male, in his late 20s or early 30's, large build, five-foot-eight-inches tall with black shoulder-length hair. He was wearing a dark leather jacket, white t-shirt and blue jeans. The suspect vehicle is described as:a dark-coloured van.
