Jaguars downgrade LB Paul Posluszny, ruling leading tackler out against Cardinals

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Jaguars have ruled out linebacker Paul Posluszny for Sunday's game against Arizona.

Posluszny, who leads the team with 88 tackles, suffered a concussion in last week's win at Tennessee. He didn't practice all week and was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report. The Jaguars downgraded him Saturday.

It will be his first missed game in three years in Jacksonville.

Without him, the Jaguars will move Russell Allen to middle linebacker and likely start rookie John Lotulelei against the Cardinals (5-4).

Also, the Jaguars (1-8) promoted defensive end Ryan Davis from the practice squad to the 53-man roster. Davis spent the first 10 weeks and most of last season on Jacksonville's practice squad.
