Police seek owners of $300,000 recovered, stolen goods in southeast Calgary

Calgary police are looking for the owners of roughly $300,000 worth of recovered, stolen goods.

Police found more than 600 items at a home in the 200 block of McKerrell Way in southeast Calgary in February while investigating a complaint.

It is believed most of the property was taken from parkade storage units across Calgary.

Police have managed to return some of the items but are now asking for the public's help in returning the rest to their rightful owners.

They continue to catalogue the items and photos of some of the more unique items can be found on the city’s website. Anyone who recognizes the property should contact the District 8 office directly at 403-428-6800.

A 30-year old Calgary man is facing several charges and police are still looking for information on the wherabouts of a second man in connection with the thefts.
