Man killed in Hwy. 401 crash near Kingston

A 20-year-old man is dead after a four-vehicle crash early Saturday morning on Highway 401 near Kingston, Ont..

Shortly after 12:30 p.m. Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) identified the man as Brady Perkins, 20, from Kingston.

A 47-year-old man was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The crash involved a tractor-trailer, an SUV, a pickup truck and a car, OPP said. All the vehicles have since been removed from the highway.

While a stretch of the highway was closed Saturday morning, all lanes have since reopened.

OPP first received a call about the crash at approximately 4:15 a.m., with traffic investigators still on scene as of 2:15 p.m.
