1 person in hospital after being shot at Bathurst and Bloor

A man has been taken to hospital after being shot in the stomach in the Bathurst and Bloor area.

Police say they got the call about the shooting at 6:40 a.m. The shooting happened on Bathurst Street between London Street and Barton Avenue. A forensics team is investigating the scene and officers are speaking to witnesses.

Police say the man was conscious and breathing when he was taken to the hospital.

Police do not have any information about a potential assailant.
