Disney announces title of 'Wreck-It Ralph' sequel: 'Ralph Breaks the Internet'

Step aside, Kim Kardashian!

Disney has officially announced the title to the sequel of 'Wreck-It Ralph,' and it takes an unexpected cue from the reality star: "Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2" is slated for release on March 9, 2018. The studio made the big announcement this week at CinemaCon.

The cheeky title is drawn from Kardashian's infamous "Break the Internet" photo shoot for Paper, in which she balanced a champagne glass on her otherworldly rear end.

Although new characters will be added to the mix, the original cast is all signed on: John C. Reilly (Ralph), Sarah Silverman (Vanellope von Schweetz), Jane Lynch (Sergeant Calhoun), and Jack McBrayer (Fix-It Felix) will be back in action.

"Wreck-It Ralph," released in 2012, received an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Feature, and the all-star production team has only had continued success: Director Rich Moore, producer Clark Spencer and writer Phil Johnston just took home the same award for 2016's "Zootopia."
