24-year-old man critical after fight near Whyte Ave.
A 24-year-old man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries he was found beaten near Whyte Avenue early Saturday morning.
Police found the man unconscious near 105 Street and 82 Avenue at around 2:30 a.m. He was taken to hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Someone reported that the victim and another man, who may have known one another, got into a fight after leaving one of the businesses in the area.
Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation and no charges have yet been laid.
