A 25-year-old man was killed early Saturday in an East St. Louis traffic accident

A 25-year-old man was killed in a traffic crash early Saturday near St. Clair Avenue and the I-70 overpass in East St. Louis.

St. Clair County Coroner Calvin Dye Sr. identified the victim as Keon R. Williams, whose last known address was in the 200 block of Meredocia Street in Madison. Williams was pronounced deceased at the scene at 1:30 a.m., Dye said.

Police information about details of the accident were not available.
