3 in Regina hospitalized in 2 morning accidents

A 64-year-old woman and two other people were taken to hospital in two separate incidents in Regina Wednesday morning.

The first incident was just after 8 a.m. CST when a vehicle hit a pedestrian — the 64-year-old woman — at the corner of Broad and Victoria.

Police said the woman was taken to hospital by ambulance. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening according to police.

Few details were immediately available. The case is under investigation, police said.

In the second incident, police were called to the corner of Victoria Avenue and Tower Road on the east end of the city after a truck hit a van.

The truck driver had injuries police described as "very minor" and was treated at scene by paramedics.

The male driver and female passenger of the van were taken to hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
Police are still investigating.
