“90 Day Fiancé”: Relics of Gino's Past Haunt Jasmine as Justin Feels Gobbled Up by Nikki's 'Wild' Sex Style

There’s a difference between a want and a need — but on 90 Day Fiancé, it’s all the same.

The couples argued through lifestyle preferences and harbored memories on Sunday night’s episode, with a few couples facing make-or-break conversations. Gino and Jasmine’s lipgloss debacle from last week was only beginning when Jasmine took the time to deep clean Gino’s house. Rob explained to Sophie that it took him a bit of extra time to be truly committed to her because of their distance. And Justin told Nikki what truly bothered him about their sexual encounters.

While thoughts of other people loomed in some relationships, the couples attempted to move forward as united fronts — even though the episode was mainly full of arguments.

The lipgloss was only the beginning. Jasmine’s cleaning day at her new home led her to a pile of Gino’s ex-wife’s things — including a napkin from a special moment, and a love letter addressed to “the man of my dreams.”

This sent Jasmine into a spiral. “You turn me on in every possible way,” the card said as Jasmine read it out loud. She added a jab for emphasis: “Wow, she's lucky.”

Other unexplained findings in Gino’s home were a copy of the Kama Sutra (though Jasmine maintains they only have one sex position) and a value pack of unopened lubricant. There was also a notebook where Gino apparently tried to learn Spanish, though the only word is a direct translation to “bitches.”

“Finding all these things from other women, it makes me very concerned to bring my family into this house. It just reaffirmed the fact that I cannot trust him,” Jasmine told the cameras. “When I went through his ex-wife’s social media, I screenshotted a picture of her dog. And it's even difficult to tell which one is Coco and which one is her dog.”

Jasmine confided in her pup that Gino might be trying to “replace” his ex — and she promised the dog she’d get both of them therapy.

When Gino was let in on the findings, he wasn’t happy. “I had a life before I met you. I'm not saving these or anything. I just didn't go through my whole entire f—ing house and find every corner of my house and look for everything that I had in my past.”

To cameras he concluded, “I really believe that Jasmine's being way too harsh on me and she's, you know, stepping over the line. This is common for people to keep things from their past relationships. I mean, I'm not dating these people now. I’m not seeing them. I’m not cheating on you. There's no reason for you to be pissed off right now about this.”

Later in the episode, Gino’s sister-in-law confirmed Gino’s point that some people do keep mementos from past relationships. Jasmine admitted she may have overreacted. “I am so messed up in my mind because I believe that jealousy is a disease and I suffer from it, and I'm trying to battle it because I'm over the top,” Jasmine told the woman.

But her concerns were validated shortly after when the woman told Jasmine Gino had a secret Bachelor Party at a strip club, just one day before Jasmine moved to America. “Here I am, feeling guilty for getting mad at Gino, being very hard on myself, blaming everything on me, like, yes, maybe, you know, I'm too jealous,” Jasmine said. “I have trust in issues after finding all these things from his excess, but I should have trusted my instinct because I was right.”

She added, “Gino is keeping secrets from me. I’m trying to keep it cool in front of Michelle, but all I want to do is go home and face Gino.”

Sophie and Rob

Now living apart, Sophie invited Rob to her new rental to talk about his virtual cheating. “I just need you to know that, like, to me, what that is is just, it's just bulls— online. It's like junk mail,” Rob said in defense of the explicit photos and videos he exchanged with another woman.

Rob then revealed it was difficult for him to lean into commitment — especially while they were long distance. “The person I've been since you touched down in LA is 1,000,000% committed,” he said. “Yes, it's been hard. Trying to be with somebody from another country is hard. If you were in my life all the time, then it would have been easier. I'm not trying to talk to nobody else. I'm not trying to be with nobody else.”

Sophie wasn’t buying it. “Look, I've never said I think you're cheating in real life. I'm saying what you've done and I've seen it has hurt me. I'm not now accusing you of being a real-life cheater.”

Still, she was willing to give Rob a chance. Sophie admitted, though, that it won’t be easy for her to look past his latest betrayal — especially because it wasn’t the first time. “Right now, it's not looking like I can trust you again without having to have this toxic relationship where I'm always checking your phone and it's like privacy evasion, which I don't — I think everyone should have their privacy, but if people take advantage of it, then they lose that,” she said.

To the cameras, Rob reiterated what happened. “I think, you know, I've been slow in the process of transitioning from being single for years to having a girlfriend and the relationship I have being long distance. You know, it's not made it any easier to make all the right decisions at all times. And it's unfortunate that I've slipped up a couple times. It was wrong,  I understand that it could have been a lot worse, but it wasn't.”

Justin and Nikki can't find the same page when it comes to intimacy,

It’s all about sex, again, for Nikki and Justin. What started as a simple day, with a plan to meet Justin’s family, turned into another argument about how Nikki’s needs were never met.

The day began with a trip to get Nikki some more modest clothing. “The women in our country [wear] some simple [things] and not with a lot of makeup. With Nikki, it's a different story,” Justin told the cameras. “She has the figure from [a] cartoon. Big butts, big hips and big boots.” (The producers corrected Justin to use the word “boobs.”)

For Nikki, it’s a betrayal of her identity. “I think Justin would be happy with me wearing a straight jacket. I don't know when he says conservative, I think that's what he means,” she said.

Nikki picked one of her own dresses for modest apparel, and Justin loved the look. This was bittersweet, as Nikki felt she only gets compliments from her boyfriend if she fits a particular guideline. “I noticed that the more time that I spent with Justin, sometimes he just doesn't reassure me with the way that I look and making me feel confident,” she said. “Maybe I feel like I'm not his cup of tea and maybe he's with me for the wrong reasons.”

Their conversation quickly turned to their lackluster sex life. Justin explained their sexual contact is “wild like you eat me” — and not in a good way. He said he’s “scared” by the encounters because Nikki is never gentle.

She responded: “I’m passionate — you’re f---ing cold.”

Ashley and Manuel

Ashley and Manuel's first couple's therapy session may be their last.

It seems like therapy won’t be happening again for Manuel, even though Ashley is pushing for change. Cultural differences drove the conversation on Sunday night when Manuel admitted he doesn’t believe in therapy.

“You’re not a child. You’re not a baby. Neither am I. We can find solutions in our own mind,” he told his fiancée. Ashley corrected Manuel’s tone, calling him a “grumpy kitty.”

“I can literally not wait until we go home and you get in bed and you relax. Because you are at a 12 and I need you at a 2. You need a nap,” she added.

Their one and only therapy session saw Ashley question why Manuel still hasn’t told his two sons about her existence. “Like, now I'm this lady that his boys have no clue who I am. All they know is that I took their dad away. Like it's putting me in like the s---tiest position ever, you know?” she said.

Manuel countered the point when the therapist asked about the lack of introduction. “She won’t be able to understand the kids, maybe. Or the kids may not understand her,” he said.

To cameras, Manuel added, “Ashley is someone who can be very intense at times. She lights up quickly. She’s like a matchstick. You scratch her head and she fires up. My kids are only 12 and 14 years old. I still have to protect their wellbeing.”

The whole situation gave Ashley a different view of their relationship. “I'm supposed to be committing my whole self to this human. And I'll be damned if I'm going to take a back seat when you are here for me,” she said. “In my country looking to marry me, I get [a] front seat. He's gotten [a] front seat in my life for years. I want [a] front seat in his.”

Clayton and Anali

Manuel isn’t the only one whose family isn’t in the loop. Anali has yet to tell her dad she’s in a relationship — let alone living in America with her fiancé — and it caused tension in her connection. Clayton and Anali had a heart to heart about why she’s chosen to keep her love story a secret.

“Everything happened so fast,” Anali said of their relationship. “How could I tell my dad I was engaged when I met him four days before that? Hiding it from my dad is for a good reason. But then it got out of control, and I couldn’t do anything about it.”

She proposed a different angle to Clayton. “Your culture is different from mine. My dad has an old-fashioned perspective,” she said, adding she’ll tell him in time. “It’ll be as if I met you here, not before. A little bit of logic.”

Clayton’s family wasn’t thrilled about the secret, either. Anali met Clayton’s sister, Brandi, on the episode. Brandi has always been “jealous” of Clayton’s girlfriends, and takes the role of the overprotective sister.

“I know nothing about Anali. It is weird that I don't know anything about her just because of the fact that me and Clayton are fairly close. Maybe he's not telling me things about her because he thinks I will probably be a bitch if she is just coming here to use my brother,” Brandi said.

She didn’t hold back with the questions. “So just to be like blunt and just don't want to beat around the bush, like how do I know that she's just not here for a green card?” Brandi asked.

Anali referenced the fact that she left her whole family back in Peru as a reason she’s not faking her love for Clayton. Still, the sister wasn’t buying it. “I do think that maybe he is blinded by love a little bit and so he is missing some red flags. But I am going to be overprotective. Always. Even when he’s mad.”

It’s official: Nick and Devin are engaged!

Though the pair have already made their 90-day commitment, Nick wanted to do something special to really celebrate their pending union. They dressed in traditional, Korean wear and did an engagement photoshoot — complete with a real proposal and a ring.

“I just wanted to say thanks for coming here all the way to Korea just for me. I really appreciate it,” Nick said. “And I know you've been through a lot for the past of couple of days. Will you marry me, Devin?”

Devin’s enthusiastic “yes” means the pair will jet set to America shortly, now that they have the approval of Nick’s parents, and a new ring to go with it.
