“90 Day”: James Laughs Through His Fear of Meitalia's Threats as She Admits to Going from '1 to 1,000' (Exclusive)
In PEOPLE's exclusive of the season premiere of '90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way', James explains why Meitalia sometimes has him on edge
James’ love for his wife Meitalia may run deep on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, but there’s no denying he fears her too.
In an exclusive clip of the season premiere of the hit TLC series, James — who first met Meitalia on social media — tells cameras why he is afraid of his wife.
“Metalia is an amazing woman, but she is a very jealous woman. She's told me several times. You ever cheat on me? I will take your d---,” James recalls, adding during nervous giggles, “It’s so scary, and I get so nervous.”
Meitalia, for her part, acknowledges she can get emotional, going from “one to 1,000” quickly.

“For me, everything is so emotional,” she added. “I cry a lot.”
Meitalia also elaborates how the couple met. After dating online for two months, James visited her in Indonesia. “He asked to marry me five days after he got here,” she says.
“It’s so fast,” she continues. “But I’m madly in love with him, and it feels amazing inside … You’re stuck with me!”
Now the couple — who have been married for two and a half years — reside in Maine, which Meitalia can't stand.
“This is ice. It's not even snow or rain. It's just hail,” James declares as they traipse through a forest.

'90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way's' Meitalia.“This is why I miss Indonesia,” she responds. James agrees, noting there was “pretty terrible weather” that day.
During another confessional moment, Meitalia explains why she moved to Maine with James, discussing how Indonesian culture dictates that wives “need to follow” their husbands.
“So I came to Maine, and then we got married in 90 days, and now I live here for about two and half years,” she adds. “I love my husband to death, but I'm not happy here, and I just can't do it anymore."
James and Meitalia are one of six couples who will be featured this season on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, which is bringing back two couples from season 5 — Statler and Dempsey along with Shekinah and Sarper — and introducing four new pairs, including James and Meitalia, Josh and Lilly, Joanne and Sean and Corona and Ingi.
The new season will see these couples fight for their love in China, Iceland, Ireland, Turkey, Indonesia and England as "financial differences and family rifts are on full display while secret marriages and troublesome pasts come into play," according to the official synopsis.
