Activists Block Intersection Near Trump Hotel for Round Dance

A group of indigenous-rights activists projected environmental messages onto the wall of the Trump International Hotel in Washington and blocked a nearby intersection for a traditional round dance late on April 27.

The activists projected messages like “Protect: the Gulf Coast” and “Protect: Turtle Island” onto the front of the hotel and then took to the street for a large dance.

The action came two days before a planned march in Washington about “climate, jobs, and justice,” according to the event website. Credit: Alejandro Alvarez via Storyful
