Adele Gives Impromptu Performance At Her Best Friend's Wedding And, Can You Imagine?!

From ELLE

Just imagine the scene: you're stuck for a wedding singer when you suddenly remember, you're best friend is Adele.

Attending the wedding of her best friend, Laura Dockrill to The Maccabees guitarist Hugo Whitenoise in London over the weekend, the Grammy-award winning singer got up on stage, grabbed a microphone and delivered an impromptu performance.

The singer and the bride belted out a rendition of Candi Staton's 'Young Hearts Run Free' and Beyoncé's 'Crazy In Love', which was captured by guests and shared on Dockrill's Instagram Stories.

Next up, Adele could be seen on stage singing her own hit 'Rolling In The Deep', which her best friend also joined her on stage for.

The singer wasn't the only award-winning female artist to take to the stage during the wedding reception at a London pub.

Fellow guest Florence Welch also performed her band's hit 'Dog Days Are Over' during which Adele could be seen at the front of the crowd jumping up and down and singing along to.

The singer, who wore a white turtleneck top and floral midi skirt with her hair in a low ponytail for the festivities, was also reportedly heard telling the crowd: 'Expect my album in September.'

Adele flew into London to attend her best mates' wedding earlier this week after spending last weekend partying the night away at Beyoncé and Jay-Z's post-Oscars party.

At the A-List event, the star joined the likes of Reese Witherspoon, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott and John Legend and Chrissy Teigen - who publicly addressed host Beyoncé to explain that she stares at the singer and doesn't talk much 'because I am truly so nervous to say something stupid'.

Which is understandable.
