Airbnb Wants You to Live Out Your ‘Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ Dreams with a Stay at the ‘90s Home

Get ready to transport yourself into a classic TV show’s beloved home.

Airbnb is letting Fresh Prince of Bel-Air fans stay at the Bel-Air home and honestly, it doesn’t get any more ‘90s than that. They tapped the Fresh Prince himself, Will Smith to do the honors of virtually opening the doors to let guests book a stay at the TV home just in time for the 30th anniversary of the sitcom. He shared the news on his Instagram with a picture of the home behind him (along with friend and former costar DJ Jazzy Jeff).

He captioned the post, “YOOOO!! Y’all think we should rent out the @freshprince house?? We’re making it happen with the squad at @airbnb!! #FreshPrince30th.”

Here’s everything you need to know about how to get a royal vacay (because we’re already packing our bags):

Once you step inside you’ll find a mix of California and Philadelphia-inspired home decor that transports us right back to the ‘90s. From graffiti art to family portraits, the mansion is fit for an LA royal.

You’ll have access to the ‘Will’s Wing’ which features a bedroom, bathroom, pool, lounge area and the dining room. There are also fun activities to make the most of your vacay like playing basketball in the bedroom, dressing in Smith-inspired clothes and taking a dip in the pool (or soaking in the sun, if that’s more your thing).

DJ Jazzy Jeff will also host an online experience and teach guests how to spin on the turntables (which can be found in the mansion) so you can start your own jam sesh all night long. How about a few classics? (The theme song has to be requested at least once.)

Oh, and the food? No need to cook yourself dinner. All meals will be provided on a silver platter, literally. And yes, be prepared for some Philly cheesesteaks.

Two guests can book a one-night stay starting September 29th at 2 PM EST/11 AM PST for October 2th, 5th, 8th, 11th or the 14th. In order to stay safe during Covid-19, this deal is only open to Los Angeles residents.

According to Airbnb, “Interested guests should note that house rules are in strict adherence with local Covid-19 guidelines, and those who request to book must prove Los Angeles County residency and currently live in the same household to minimize risk. Guests can rest easy in the king-size bed knowing that the home will be cleaned in accordance with CDC rules and consistent with the Airbnb enhanced cleaning protocol.”

The best part? It’s only $30 (inspired by the show’s 30th anniversary, of course). So, what are you waiting for? Now you can answer the pressing question from the theme song, “Is this what the people of Bel-Air living like?” Yes, yes they do.
