Amusement center with escape rooms, laser tag, animatronics to open in Myrtle Beach, SC

Hickey’s InterActive Adventures, an entertainment center with virtual reality headsets and escape rooms among other activities, is set to open in Myrtle Beach this spring.

The amusement center will be located at 7621 North Kings Highway, next to a Food Lion. An opening date has not been announced, but its website and Facebook say doors will open sometime in the spring.

InterActive Adventures will have many activities including laser tag with virtual reality headsets, a 5,000-square-foot indoor playground, escape rooms and other virtual reality activities. There will also be an animatronics room with dinosaurs.

The website does not state the price of admission. A phone call to InterActive Adventures was not returned on Sunday. There will also be party options, such as for birthdays, holidays or corporate events.
