Angela Bassett’s two children are getting ready to leave the nest.

The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star recently celebrated her 18-year-old twins Bronwyn and Slater's high school graduation.  As a guest on the May 29 episode of The Talk, Bassett admitted, “I haven’t cried yet,” emphasizing that it hasn’t even been 24 hours since the ceremony.

The actress, 65, made the big day extra special for her kids, whom she shares with husband Courtney B. Vance.

“I had to make sure I got up, you know, we have the photo of the first day of preschool in the same place, and last day of school, same place,” Bassett shared, adding, “I made breakfast like I did for preschool."

“I haven’t been able to lately because they DoorDash and all that stuff,” she joked.

Before the twins head off to college in the fall, Bassett said the family is headed to Greece.

"My daughter was like, ‘Mom, can we go somewhere we've never been before?’ So, somewhere I've never been before, Greece, I settled on that,” she shared. “ So they're excited about that, and I'm excited that they don't mind traveling with Mom.“

Asked how she feels about her upcoming empty nester status, Basset shared, "Everyone talks about how difficult it is, and I'm sure it is.”

She continued, “But I remember when I flew the nest and how excited I was to do it and to get away and to mature. I'm excited for them, I'm excited for me. I guess I'll worry in a different way."

The Golden Globe winner recently opened up to PEOPLE about what it would be like to see her kids follow in her Hollywood footsteps during last year’s BAFTA Tea Party.

"They want to follow the success, but whether it be acting, I don't get any clues to that right now," Bassett said of their interests. "It's a little music, a little sports. But whatever they want to do, I support them."
