Anna Faris Buys $4.9 Pacific Palisades Home
Fans were devastated when Anna Faris and Chris Pratt split in 2017, but today the amicable pair have each moved on, both relationship- and real estate–wise. The former couple listed their shared Hollywood Hills home in 2018, and Variety now reports that Faris purchased a $4.9 million home in Pacific Palisades last year.
The Mom star reportedly bought the new abode in an off-market deal. Though fairly modest in size (it’s just more than 4,000 square feet), the modern home stands out for its sustainable design. It was originally constructed as a spec house, and the previous owner then renovated the property to make it a LEED-certified home, with solar-powered utilities, an advanced water filtration-recycling system, and a garage with a Tesla charger.
Both the interior and exterior evoke a sense of organic living, with wood and stucco on the outside and white and wood detailing on the inside. The entire property sits behind tall hedges and a succulent-filled courtyard, giving off more of that clean, green vibe. Not to mention, it’s entirely hidden from the street.
A bamboo-lined walkway leads to the entry of the house, where the home splits left and right in a unique layout. To the right is a large open floor plan that consists of a living area with a fireplace, dining room, and eat-in kitchen featuring designer appliances by Gaggenau. Floor-to-ceiling windows surround the massive common area and let natural light flood in. On the main floor, there’s also a guest room and a housekeeping area.
Upstairs there are three en suite bedrooms (some with private terraces) and a master suite, which resides in its own wing. The stunning space features a sitting area, built-in bed frame, private terrace, spa-like bathroom with soaking tub, and fireplace. The backyard has a small footprint as well, but the space is well utilized and private. Wood decking surrounds the pool and spa, and there’s plenty of space to lounge, thanks to the built-in benches. An outdoor dining space with a fireplace tops off the contemporary abode, making it an ideal retreat.
While Faris and Pratt's former home remains on the market, the Guardians of the Galaxy star moved in with his new wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, early this year.
