Quebec anti-corruption squad conducts more Laval raids

UPAC executes four search warrants in Laval offices Nov. 5, the latest in a series of anti-corruption raids targeting construction firms in Laval.

Quebec's anti-corruption squad is once again raiding a number of locations in Laval.

They are reported to be targeting a number of offices, including engineering consulting firms.

"There are no arrests planned, but investigators are meeting with people," said UPAC spokeswoman Anne-Frédérick Laurence.

UPAC confirms about 50 officers are on the ground.

Raids targeting engineering consulting firms were also conducted on Tuesday.
