Apple Music has a new mix based on what your friends are listening to

If you're constantly asking your friends to recommend new music to you, Apple has a new discovery mix that's right up your alley.

The company launched a new Apple Music feature called the Friends Mix, which creates a mix of 25 songs that your Apple Music friends have listened to recently, 9to5Mac reported Tuesday.

The new feature is not yet visible to everyone (a couple of folks at Mashable with Apple Music subscriptions don't see it, for example), but some users have gotten it.

In iOS 11, Apple launched profiles on Apple Music, letting users see what their friends on the platform are listening to. But with the new Friends Mix feature, which gets updated every Monday, this has gotten even easier. Friends Mix is integrated with Siri, so you can start it up simply by saying "Hey Siri, play my Friends Mix."

Other discovery mixes available in Music are Favorites Mix, New Music Mix and Chill Mix, each of them updating on a different weekday. Just like Friends Mix, they're all available under "For You" in Apple Music.
