Armed robber takes money from a Macon Circle K, flees on a bike, sheriff’s office says

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who robbed a Circle K in Macon Friday night, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

It was reported the suspect entered the store at 3889 Vineville Ave. with a gun just before 10 p.m., according to the sheriff’s office.

“The man approached the register and demanded money from the clerk,” the release said.

He stole an undisclosed amount of money, then fled on a bicycle, the sheriff’s office said.

The suspect was described as wearing all dark clothing, brown shoes, a black motorcycle helmet and a gray shirt covering his face, the sheriff’s office said.
