Arnold Schwarzenegger Praises Son-in-Law Chris Pratt: ‘I’m Really Happy My Daughter Has Found Him’
Schwarzenegger also shared that his daughter often brings her and Pratt's two daughters to his house so they can play with his animals
Arnold Schwarzenegger has nothing but praise for son-in-law Chris Pratt.
The FUBAR star, 76, shared on the latest episode of Jason and Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast that he thinks highly of Pratt, who married his daughter, Katherine Schwarzenegger, in June 2019.
“He’s a fun guy to talk to,” Schwarzenegger said of the 44-year-old actor.
“I’m really happy that my daughter has found him. And that he has found her… they found each other,” he added. “Because they fit really well together and they just look wonderful together. They’re so in love with each other.”

He also shared that he thinks his son-in-law is a “fantastic” actor who has done well in his career, and revealed that the two often like to chat about their experiences in the entertainment business.
“I mean, he’s really great,” Schwarzenegger shared. “We talk a lot about show business because this is a whole new era now, and so we talk about that vs. when I got into the game.”
The Terminator actor also opened up about his affection for his grandchildren on the New Heights podcast. He shared that his daughter Katherine often likes to bring her and Pratt’s daughters Lyla Maria, 3, and Eloise Christina, 1 ½, to his house over the weekends to play with his pig, mini-horse and mini-donkey.

“I love the grandkids,” the proud grandfather said. “When Katherine comes over with the kids and they play with the animals for hours, they just love it.”
Schwarzenegger said that they often bake sugarless oatmeal cookies for the animals to eat, which his granddaughters help with, and noted that the girls always have “a great time” interacting with the various creatures.
“I say, ‘Kids, do you want to help me feed the animals?’ And I say, ‘Let’s go and feed Nelly,’ which is my pig. So now they’re feeding Nelly and teaching him how to put [food] in his mouth and all of those kinds of things,” he shared.

“And then they go over to the stall with me and they bring out the miniature donkey, Lulu, and Whiskey, the miniature pony and they feed them," he added.
There is no love lost between Schwarzenegger and Pratt, as the True Lies actor has previously congratulated his son-in-law on his films, including Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. In return, The Super Mario Bros. actor has also shared what it meant to have his father-in-law cheering him on.
Pratt told PEOPLE last year during a special screening of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, "Arnold's support means the world to me on a couple different levels. Just being his son-in-law and being part of his family, it obviously means a lot to have his support.”
"But then on another level, just being somebody who grew up loving his movies, the big action hero — I dreamed of being Commando and dreamed of being the soldier from Predator, and I loved Terminator," he added. "So him to give me kudos for going out and being on the marquee is really kind of mind-blowing."
