Bella Hadid on Mom Yolanda Supporting Her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Debut: ‘She’s My Emotional Angel’
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Paris is going to be one big family affair for the Hadid clan. Not only will sisters Gigi Hadid, 21, and Bella Hadid, 20, walk in the show, mother and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Hadid, 52, will be cheering them on from inside, having arrived in the European city today.
Both sisters have opened up about how supportive their mom has been of their careers, and how important it is to them for her to attend their biggest events for moral support (like at the Marc Jacobs fashion show, pictured below).
Recently, Gigi had mom Yolanda backstage with her at the American Music Awards, while the model hosted.
Meanwhile, Bella told PEOPLE before she left for the show at a fitting at Victoria’s Secret headquarters in New York that she was hoping her mom could make it because she is “my emotional angel,” she says.
“She always makes me feel so much better,” Bella continues. “Just like any mother would.”

Today, Yolanda posted on Instagram that she’s getting amped to attend the show, where her two daughters will walk in lingerie. “I’m so excited to see you girls tomorrow night,” she wrote.
Yolanda, a former model herself, offered some advice to Bella before she went. “She’s just like, ‘Shoulders back, be confident and walk strong,'” says the young model. Bella will be wearing two looks during the show, including an embellished top covered in over 6,000 crystals.
“I look like a disco ball,” she says of the design. “It’s so beautiful and shiny.”
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will air on CBS on December 5th.
