Best fried chicken in Washington is at this restaurant, Yelp says. Why it’s No. 1

Chicken lovers, look no further.

A Washington restaurant has been ranked as the best spot for fried chicken in the state, and Yelp reviewers can’t seem to get enough of it.

Sisters and Brothers in Seattle took the No. 1 spot on Yelp’s “finger-lickin’ guide to fried chicken in every state.”

The list was created after Yelp looked at businesses that serve chicken with lots of five-star reviews from Elite Reviewers. The July 1 results came out just in time for National Fried Chicken Day on July 6.

The chicken joint serves up Nashville hot chicken with plenty of tasty sides. Its menu includes chicken tenders, wings, dark meat, a chicken sandwich and a fried green tomato sandwich.

Hungry customers can then order coleslaw, mac and cheese, and fries to cool down the spicy chicken with.

Why do fans love the chicken here?

Yelp reviewers had plenty to say about the juicy and flavorful fried chicken.

“This place was out of this world. I absolutely loved the Seattle seasoning of the Nashville hot chicken, and the fried okra was delicious,” one person commented.

“The chicken is so juicy, and when they say XXL they are not lying. The price is up there but the portion and quality for the price is spot on,” another wrote.

Other reviewers commented on the cozy decor.

“The restaurant’s exterior is deceiving because once inside, it is a low-lit dining area with lots of decor on the walls,” someone wrote.

“Also I liked the vintage feel of the place. It actually made me kind of happy to be in a more laid back setting. It was eclectic with a lot of throw back pictures and memorabilia,” another person said.
