Beyoncé Serves High-Fashion Cowgirl in Sheer Lace Dress and Blonde Pigtail Braids for Country-Inspired Photo Shoot
The Grammy winner celebrated 'Cowboy Carter' in style
Beyoncé is where country meets couture.
After dropping her eighth studio album, Cowboy Carter, at midnight on Friday, the 32-time Grammy winner stunned on W Magazine’s first-ever digital cover showing off her high-fashion, rodeo-inspired style.
On Friday, in the first image fans saw of the “16 Carriages” hitmaker, 42, Beyoncé appeared in all-white under a message that read: “A new era.”
The star wore a Gladys Tamez cowboy hat, an oversize shaggy Alexander McQueen coat and Cartier high jewelry earrings as she stared into the camera for the cover shot.
Her makeup perfectly offsetted the all-white look with a dramatic smokey eye and a dark mauve matte lipstick.
Beyoncé’s platinum blonde hair framed her face as she leaned on a fence at a ranch.

In another photo, the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer, who was styled by Sara Moonves and Shiona Turini for the shoot, again played with a bit of contrasting colors.
She wore a black Chloé cape, cream dress and black boots. The Houston native accessorized with a black Stetson cowboy hat — much like the mist grey shade from the same brand that she wore to the 2024 Grammys.
For a pop of color to break up the black and cream palette, Beyoncé added turquoise and silver drop earrings and a matching bolero tie — both from the Mahnaz Collection.
Another one of her stunning looks from the W Magazine digital cover shoot consisted of another all-white ensemble.
Standing in front of boulders and cactus on a dirt road, Beyoncé draped a Proenza Schouler blanket over the upper half of her body as a top, pairing it with a floor-length, formfitting skirt from the same brand.
The vocalist elevated her look with a pair of Gaspar Gloves by Dorothy Gaspar gloves. De Beers earrings could be seen peeking through her hair, which was sleekly parted down the middle.
Her Stetson cowboy hat in mist grey made another appearance. The accessory has a retail price of $440.

Almost adding her own twist to the classic cow print, Beyoncé wore only brown and white in another image.
Whirling a lasso high above her head, she commanded attention in brown Sportmax chaps and Andreādamo briefs. A brown bandana was also tied across her face so that only her eyes were visible.
She completed her outfit with Van Cleef & Arpels earrings, Lisa Eisner Jewelry cuffs, a Tiffany & Co. ring and Partlow boots.
A horse could be seen in her background, completing the experience.
Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter comes as Act II to her Renaissance release.
The 27-track album features collabs from some of the biggest names in country music such as Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson.

Other artists who have been making a name for themselves in the genre who also appear on the project include Rhiannon Giddens, Tanner Adell and Willie Jones.
“I hope that you can hear my heart and soul, and all the love and passion that I poured into every detail and every sound,” Beyoncé previously said in a lengthy Instagram statement ahead of the album's release.
