Big Brother Canada Season 12 star Elijah Kazlauskas (also known as Goose) from North Bay, Ont., has been up for elimination for weeks, but it was the Movie Night Massacre that finally led to him leaving the house. This also makes Kazlauskas the first houseguest to join the jury.

"It's tough to lose, but I'm so glad I made jury," Kazlauskas told Yahoo Canada. "I'm so grateful for the experience overall."

Despite his regular appearances on the block, Kazlauskas said he was never expecting to find himself there, week after week.

"I really didn't expect it, literally every week," Kazlauskas said. "Honestly, I'm kind of good when I'm on defence, it was really tough at times though."

In the Movie Night Massacre, the houseguests had to make a casting choice on the Movie Night Massacre poster, the order based on a previous competition, which left Kazlauskas without an eviction vote. Kazlauskas and Avery Martin were on the block, with Kazlauskas evicted in an unanimous vote.

'I shouldn't have trusted her as much as I did'

Looking back at his strategy throughout the game, Kazlauskas identified that a "big mistake" was not pushing back when Victoria "Spicy Vee" Woghiren wanted to put a member of "The Directors" alliance on the block as a "pawn."

"At the time I was worried people would think I didn't trust them, or put heat on me, but I really should have just stood my ground and said, 'No, this is ridiculous. It makes no sense,'" Kazlauskas said.

The evicted Big Brother star also identified Spicy Vee as the most untrustworthy houseguest.

"She's kind of playing all angles," Kazlauskas said. "She's played an absolutely amazing game."

"I shouldn't have trusted her as much as I did, but I don't mean that in a shady way, she's playing a great game. If you're going to play, play to win, and that's what a lot of people are doing. Everyone's really playing to win. Some people are pushing themselves more than others, in terms of dishonesty, but I'm here for it."

Now looking to his role as the first jury member of Big Brother Canada Season 12, Kazlauskas said he just wants the "best player" to win the season.

"I want to make sure people are making decisions based on the facts," Kazlauskas said. "Obviously you feel a certain way, but like I don't want people to be like, 'Oh so-and-so backstabbed me.' That's the game. There's only one winner and we knew that."
