Another year, another round of actresses who dare to bare it all in Allure.

For the magazine's annual nude feature, Jordana Brewster (Furious 7), Laverne Cox (Orange is the New Black), Katheryn Winnick (Vikings), Nicole Beharie (Sleepy Hollow), and Sandrine Holt (The Returned) all stripped down.

While the ladies look quite comfortable with nothing on, it wasn't easy convincing Cox to participate.

"I said no initially, thought about it, and said no again," the 30-year-old actress and LGBT advocate reveals. "But I'm a black transgender woman. I felt this could be really powerful for the communities that I represent."

It's certainly been quite a year for Cox, who made history in 2014 when she became the first openly transgender actress to receive an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress.

"Black women are not often told that we're beautiful unless we align with certain standards. Trans women certainly are not told we're beautiful," she explains. "Seeing a black transgender woman embracing and loving everything about her body might be inspiring for some folks. There's a beauty in the things we think are imperfect. It sounds very cliché, but it's true."

Cox concluded, "Going through life you try to cover and hide but it doesn't really work."

As for Brewster, the Furious 7 star wasn't shy about showing off her body. "There's a strength to the portrait that I'm really proud of," the 34-year-old actress tells the magazine. "Having to wear those tight outfits in [The Fast and the Furious] franchise has helped me keep fitness a part of my life… My legs used to be my least favorite body part, but now they're really strong and muscular."

If you've got it, why not flaunt it?
