Honest Abe is not only related to Clooney but also to another distant descendant who is also a Hollywood actor. Tom Hanks is Lincoln's third cousin four generations removed. The "Captain Philips" star even paid tribute to his kin during President Obama's 2009 Inauguration celebration."Abe Lincoln was a quiet and a melancholy man, but when he spoke of democracy this is what he said, 'as I would not be a slave, I would not be a master, this expresses my idea of democracy.'"

The New England Historic Genealogical Society found that Brad Pitt and the president are ninth cousins, all thanks to a relative in common who lived in Virginia in the 1760s.
