Chris Brown's Mug Shot Released Ahead of D.C. Trial

Talk about a blond bombshell. Chris Brown's mug shots from his October 27, 2013, arrest in Washington, D.C., have been released and, well, he's not looking too hot.

In the photos, Brown, 24, is sporting bleach blond hair and his tattoos along his neck, one of which is believed to be of his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, are visible. The Grammy Award winner also appears to have bruises above his right cheekbone and eye.

The mug shots were taken after Brown and his bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, were arrested on assault charges following a brawl with another man just outside the W Hotel in Washington, D.C. Hollosy told police he punched the man after the stranger tried to get on Brown's tour bus. The man told police that Brown and, later, Hollosy punched him after he tried to get in a photo Brown was taking with two women.

Hollosy's trial begins Thursday in Washington at the Superior Court and Brown's will follow on April 23. The "Forever" singer is currently being held at Northern Neck Regional Jail in Virginia.

Brown, who claims he never punched the man, rejected a plea deal for the charges in early January. He elected to seek treatment in rehab, but was kicked out in March after refusing to cooperate with the institution's rules. While the current charges were reduced to a misdemeanor at an earlier court appearance, the outcome of the trial could have big consequences for the R&B crooner; he could face up for four years in jail if he is found guilty.
