JWoww isn’t the only celebrity who hates being pregnant

In Hollywood, actresses frequently make pregnancy sound like winning an Oscar. Drew Barrymore said she felt "blessed," Jennifer Love Hewitt branded it "awesome," and Angelina Jolie opted for "special" to describe her growing baby bump.

So when Jenni "JWoww" Farley revealed at the MTV Movie Awards that she hated being pregnant, it came as a bit of a shock, especially considering that she was standing next to former "Jersey Shore" co-star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, who is taking the more traditional stance of enjoying her second pregnancy.

"She loves being pregnant right now, and I f---ing hate it," JWoww told Us Weekly at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday. "I'm not a fan of pregnancy right now, with my thighs touching and my boobs changing. But I know it will be worth it and hopefully I get back to that really quickly."

The 28-year-old reality star, who is expecting her first child with her fiancé, Roger Mathews, is set to give birth in July.

"I know she is going to be a great mom," Snooki said of her friend, adding, "The whole labor thing she is really nervous about, but anybody is nervous about that."

It's rare for celebrities to disparage the "miracle of life," but it has been known to happen. Kate Hudson, for instance, seemed to take issue with some of her body changes when she was pregnant with her second child, Bingham Hawn Bellamy, in 2011.

"I hate it. I'm usually an A cup and I'm getting close to a D cup. Big breasts are fun for certain things and really not fun for other things," she told InStyle at the time. "Plus, I love fashion, and having big breasts is not ideal for certain looks."

For other stars, it's less about how it looks and more about how it feels. In 2008, Gwyneth Paltrow expressed reservations at having a third child because of how hard her pregnancies were with her daughter, Apple, and her son, Moses.

"In theory, I’d love to [have another child]," the actress told Gotham magazine. "It’s really hard for me when I’m pregnant — I’m sick as a dog for months. Sometimes I think, 'Oh my God, I want another one right now, I’ll sustain any amount of vomiting' or whatever. And then sometimes I think, 'Gosh, everyone’s sleeping through the night now.'"

Melissa Joan Hart has also opened up about how difficult it was carrying her three children.

“I would have seven babies if I didn’t have to be pregnant," she told People in 2012. "I hate being pregnant – the lack of energy at the beginning, having to change your diet. It’s a huge adjustment, and you have to change your whole lifestyle for a few months.”

Still, all that trouble didn't stop these actresses from having more than one child. So don't be surprised if JWoww announces a second pregnancy sometime in the future, no matter how much she might "hate" it.
