AskMen.com has unveiled its Top 99 Most Desirable Women of the Year list, celebrating beautiful and successful females who have recently made remarkable contributions to the worlds of film, business, sports, comedy, fashion, music, and philanthropy.
And there's a new reigning queen for 2014: "Game of Thrones" actress Emilia Clarke. So how did she steal the top spot away from Academy Award-winner Jennifer Lawrence, who received the honor in 2013 but dropped to No. 4 on this year's list?
Clarke, 26, has clearly captured the hearts of viewers with her ethereal beauty and outstanding performance as Daenerys Targaryen. The "Mother of Dragons" has evolved from a shrinking violet into a fierce leader, a champion of the weak and a warrior, and the strength of her character is inspiring. The actress is also a charmer who knows how to work her assets, not least of which are her, um, eyebrows? Two other "Game of Thrones" actresses, Oona Chaplin and Rose Leslie, also made the list this year. The promos for the fourth season have been giving us chills, so we understand why folks have these beguiling ladies on the brain.
The list includes a bevy of rising young TV stars as well, with notables including Alison Brie, the three "GoT" actresses, Sarah Hyland from "Modern Family," Shailene Woodley from "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," and "Parks and Recreation's" Aubrey Plaza all making the cut.
The list changes every year, indexing which celebrities have had the most impact. And this year is no different, with lots of new ladies, including three — Brie, Emily Ratajkowski, and Margot Robbie — who make their debut in the coveted top 10.

Soaring Stars
Several women featured on 2013's list saw a drastic jump in rank this year thanks to career boosts, which helped them shine.
Kerry Washington, who soared from No. 46 to No. 7, is riding high off multiple award nominations for her roles in the ABC drama "Scandal" and Quentin Tarantino's box-office hit "Django Unchained." The beautiful actress also did an excellent job hosting "Saturday Night Live" — and called attention to the show's chronic lack of African-American female talent in the process.
Will there ever be a year when men don’t love Emma Watson? The former Hermione shook off the last vestiges of her Harry Potter associations, shooting up from No. 29 last year to No. 5 this year, possibly thanks to an image makeover for 2013's "The Bling Ring" and her always-on red carpet style.
Amy Adams dropped jaws across the country with her performance as the sexy con-artist girlfriend of Christian Bale in "American Hustle,"which swept the Academy Awards nominations. The unanimous male love of side-boob may have helped her leap from No. 66 last year to No. 8 in 2014.
A classic Top-99er, Kate Moss is back in the top 10 after sinking to No. 95 last year, probably thanks to her cover and racy semi-nude spread for Playboy's 60th anniversary special edition. Moss recently celebrated her 40th birthday, proving that her sex appeal is timeless.
How The Mighty Have Fallen
2014's list saw both small dips and massive plummets in rank for some women, and some of the list's staples have dropped off the radar entirely.
The woman Vogue magazine called "America's greatest supermodel," Miss Kate Upton, took a small hit, sliding from No. 3 to No. 6 this year. Last year's reigning queen, the effortlessly captivating J.Law is apparently a little less captivating this year, coming in at No. 4.
Despite being ranked No. 2 on last year's list and hitting the top spots on most men's magazines' hot lists in the past few years, Mila Kunis has fallen somewhat out of favor, landing at No. 26 this year. Perhaps the public is none too pleased by the relationship between her and her former "That '70s Show" co-star, Ashton Kutcher.
And though supermodel Miranda Kerr is a perennial feature on the Top 99 list, she ranked significantly lower this year, falling from No. 6 to No. 46. But at least she made the list.
A surprising number of the world's most beautiful women just plain didn’t make the cut in 2014. Among those omitted were Kristen Stewart, Blake Lively, Penelope Cruz, Megan Fox, Jessica Alba, and Gisele Bundchen. Better luck next year!
