British woman undergoes $200K in cosmetic procedures to look like caricature of herself

Krystina Butel

We’ve heard of people using plastic surgery to transform themselves into celebrities or younger versions of themselves. But to fork over hundreds of thousands of dollars to look like a caricature of yourself? This one’s a first.

Krystina Butel, 30, has spent a whopping £130,000 ($234,000 CAD) on cosmetic surgery and procedures (so far) in an effort to look more like the $10 caricature of herself she bought while on holiday when she was 15 years old.

"When I saw the caricature for the first time on holiday, I was jealous of it. She was so glamorous. She was everything that I wanted to be," Butel told the Sun. “It was like she was holding the carrot out to me, showing me what I could be.”

"Over the years, I’ve spent more and more on beauty treatments and surgery so I can look just like her."

"I adored how over-the-top she looked and how done-up she was. I loved her massive boobs and tiny waist. I loved her eyes, hair and lips too," she added. “I liked the whole thing. It was as if the artist had seen the potential in me, what I could be. He showed me what I could be if I pushed myself to the limit.”

The West Yorkshire woman has had five breast augmentations to increase her breast size from a 32DD to a cartoonish 36K. Botox, tattooed makeup, lip injections, lash extensions, tooth capping — and regular teeth whitening — and plenty of suntanning helped her complete her larger-than-life look.

See the complete list of procedures here.

Not included in any photos we’ll feature here are her heart-shaped nipple tattoos.

And she’s not done.

She plans to have an eyebrow lift and butt implants, as well as more breast augmentations, Botox, fillers and lip implants.

"I’d love to have huge butt implants," she told the MailOnline. ”What’s the point of having butt implants if they’re not massive?”

No word on which surgeon is agreeing to perform the over-the-top procedures.

"My caricature keeps me going with my dream. She looks exactly how I want to look like. I know I’m closer to it now than I was fifteen years ago but there’s always something else I can get in terms of surgery to be more like it," Butel said.

"I can always rely on my caricature to show me what I need to do next. I never think that I’m done for good with my plastic surgery. She shows me that there’s never enough."

She added, “Everyone goes down a certain path and the caricature was my path.”

Apparently Butel’s fiancé, David Scriven, is completely supportive of her obsession.

"To me, Krystina is beautiful. I love her look and I love the caricature – they’ve both got the same big personality," Scriven, 41, said.

Let this be a warning to parents everywhere: Watch what your kids bring home with them from vacation. Some souvenirs turn into life-long obsessions.
