Easter bunny caught on video brawling with mall shoppers

Attention, Santa Claus: Here is one bad hare and a few other folks to add to your naughty list this coming December.

Customers at Newport Mall in New Jersey witnessed a strange fight Sunday evening involving the shopping centre’s Easter bunny and some patrons waiting to get a photo with him.

According to The Telegraph, onlooker Kevin Pineda shot the footage and posted it to his personal Twitter account. As of this post being written, Pineda’s Twitter is not available.

The video shows the bunny, lacking the costume’s head, getting into a scrap with a couple of shoppers while store security and other onlookers help restrain the man.

“I was just at the mall eating on the third floor when me and a couple of friends heard commotion going on downstairs, like yelling,” Pineda told The Washington Post.

Pineda added that he saw a woman begin to attack the Easter bunny, which prompted him to pull out his phone and film… because of course.

It’s not known if the bunny or any of the other customers will face charges in connection with the incident.
